This Lily is nicely rendered Cathie! I would suggest playing around on scrap paper with different colors for the base toning. Light greens, blues etc can work with white flowers. Using dark sepia or other dark colors for the base toning can muddy the whites.
Remember that on toned paper, you’ll really want to push your darks to the max to show 3d form… I would add just a few little touches of Dark Sepia in the very darkest places: where the petals meet, and deep in the center. Great work with those subtle grays!

I like how you captured the ruffly edges of the petals. I agree with Vern – those finishing touches of darks in key areas will bolden it up.
