Hi Colleen, Very nice drawing! Your toning is very well done. I especially like the line work on the roots and stems. The only thing that I think you could work on is the area where the skin is separating in the body of the onion. It has too much of an outline. Particularly the left side of the crack. Let the lightness of the upper skin delineate the separation from the under layer. You don’t need that strong dark line.
