I’m working on the Year Long Challenge. I have a small branch from a Carolina Allspice that I transplanted several years ago. It’s a small shrub with deep bergundy flowers that bloom in June and smell like strawberries. View
I love this composition. My eyes skip along from top across to bottom rather merrily! The veining & colour variations are so inviting. Did you use an embossing tool for some of the veins?
Yea ginkgo leaves! A great subject with so many possibilities on composition. This is a great one. I would still like to see a tiny bit more contrast, maybe just a very few darker punctuation lines, just a few!
So delicate!
Very nice. I love the negative space between the two leaves.
Fun composition, Donna! (This would be a great start for a pattern!)

Thank you Wendy… I donated this one to a small works benefit show and it’s gone, but I have a pile of Ginkgo leaves— I’ve already started a new one.
