I’m working on the Year Long Challenge. I have a small branch from a Carolina Allspice that I transplanted several years ago. It’s a small shrub with deep bergundy flowers that bloom in June and smell like strawberries. View

Nice, Donna! Is this the same branch that you have been drawing, with the “knobby” branching? It looks similar to me. I really enjoy the cluster of leaves at the top.
It’s not the same plant. It’s a azalea that was just putting out a hint of a leaf bud and I thought I would try to force it.
