Eileen, I agree that keeping the reproductive parts clear and crisp on a flower like this is tough. Sometimes it can help to make the stamens light-colored so they stand out on top of a shaded petal; so the petal reads darker in tone and the stamens read lighter and on top. This can feel counter-intuitive because it is not truly the color you see… but it may read clearer in the end. I really enjoy the linework on the petals here. The only thing I recommend is perhaps a bit more range of tones in the structure of the flower itself, so that it looks more 3-dimensional, especially in the center? Gorgeous color. Beautiful work!
