Hi Eloise, Good job on your value scale! The gradation is smooth. And your tone even. My comments would be that I would prefer a square format to a circle, so you can see the values next to each other. Also you could go darker. I can see you going at least one more step. Beginners tend to miss that darkest dark in their drawings as well, so it’s good to realize it in your value scale right at the beginning.
