Hi Eloise, Much better! Good darks! Now try to take the tone to the edge of the square, so you don’t see a white line. Practice on getting the tones even, not blotchy. It’s harder to do this in the lighter tones. Do several of these. This is a great exercise for handling materials and seeing value. I find them relaxing to do.
It’s also fun to hold your pencil in different ways while practicing these. Hold it really far back and loosely sometimes and see how you go. Good work.
