Hi Stephanie- I like a mix of mediums on a page! However, it doesn’t always work. I use it when there are details that will not read as strongly as I want if those particular details were done in color. Also when parts would compete too much with the areas that are the focal point. Personally I would add color to the areas you left monochromatic. If they had more detail, I might leave it, but those two areas don’t have much detail. If you kept the writing small, the title could fit in under the petal and your name on the eggplant side. If you don’t like it on the top or bottom, what about having it read vertically and run it in the open space to the left of the yellow veggies.
