Hi Karen. Good study. Keep going! You can darken the right side of the main stem going up, think of toning it as a cylinder. Same with the right side of the bulb – tone it as a sphere so I see the right side in shadow. Give me some overlap shading in the roots. Some variation there so some parts of the roots go behind, are farther back, some shading where they’d be in shadow near the base of the bulb.
