Hi Elizabeth- this is an interesting composition! I would suggest adding more range of tones to the branches. Right now I am seeing a lot of mid-range tone and it needs more range transitioning to the darker tones. This will really help convey the cylindrical form of the branches. Be aware that the cast shadow created when one branch crosses over another branch will not be on both sides of the crossed branch. There should only be a cast shadow on the side furthest from the light source. In this case that is the right side. You are almost there!
