Very fresh drawing of Fuchsia. the flower is great. The leaf colors feel a bit bright and less realistic to the actual green color of these leaves. I think you are choosing very bright greens to work from and perhaps you can use some of the greens that are closer to the real leaf color next time if you want your color of your leaves to feel more realistic. Your flower colors are right on!
Thank you Wendy. Much appreciated advice. Yes, my FC 12 set of pencils only give me 2 shades of green one felt too blue and the other was too yellow so I tried a different brand I had lying around and the colours came out too bright. I’ve tried to remove with browns but I think the damage is done. I didn’t grisaille on this either so I feel like it lacks depth. Still a fun exercise to fo while the fuchsia is going crazy in my garden
