Sherry, this is great practice for rendering rolling and twisting forms. I think something to remember when working with forms like this is that you want to convey continuous, graceful movement, almost like…a calligraphic stroke. The spot that stands out to me here is just before you reach the 2 (lovely) spirals on the right. There is an abrupt change of direction there that interrupts the graceful movement you achieved everywhere else. Keep going with this concept, and practice with parallel veined leaves! 🙂 looking good.
