Hi Nancy- the colors of these apples are beautiful and have nice form! The area that confuses me is where they meet. The apple on the left has an odd shape where it meets the other apple and it adds to the confusion. Both apples need more dark tones where they meet and to really establish which apple is in front of the other. You are off to a great start!
Again with your colors! I can’t stop looking! I agree with Doug the edge of the left apple should be rounded more and a bit more attention to the shadow of the left apple on the right would establish them sitting in space better. Remember to think about/observe how the shadow would fall on the spherical surface of the apple.
