I have a bad habit of getting 1/2 way through a drawing, and then abandoning it to work on something else. I’m going to try not to do that this time. Since I got overwhelmed by the fern/club moss idea, I decided to just add in another boggy bit to help balance out the composition a little so I can finish this. What do you think about adding in this swamp loosestrife where I have it mapped in on tracing paper?
Thanks! It’s a brown color similar to the hue of the maleberry that’s on the lower left of the page. I’m still thinking about adding something with a touch of green in it somewhere on the left side to balance out the bog rosemary that is on the right, but I haven’t decided what I’m going to do yet. I’m definitely having fun with this composition.

That looks good! I think the little round bits will nicely balance the little seed pods on the other side. What color is it?

Yes! I love this, Pam.
