Did a color study on a scrap piece of watercolor paper for practice before starting my larger pitcher plant composition. Used watercolor followed by colored pencil. I lost the highlight when doing the watercolor, and I couldn’t lift it back out, so I’ll try to be more careful when I do the larger piece.
