Maureen, for the fine details I mostly used a number 4 winsor and newton series 7 miniature brush. It has a full body, so hold a lot of paint, but tapers down to a really tiny tip. But really, any watercolor brush that has a fine tip would work. I also really like the interlon synthetic brushes. I need to order some more.
I can’t stop with the leaves. I may need a support group.
Please don’t stop! This is beautiful!
awww. thanks katy.
I am in awe of the contrasting and details – inspirational. What pencils did you use?
Margaret, this was just in watercolor so far.
So delightful, you’ve captured everything I love about these winter treasures! What size brush are you using for these fine details?
@pgthompson Maureen has a question above for you.
