Hi Maureen, Lovely drawing! A yellow blossom is a good idea. I’m thinking you could put it somewhere to make a nice visual triangle with the other two flowers. Maybe do a drawing on another sheet of paper, cut it out and play around with where to put it, what size, and how colorful to make it.

Hey Maureen, Beautiful drawing so far–I love the character of the leaves here, and you did a really nice job with the fluffy white seeds. Do any of yall know if one dandelion plant can have three flower stalks at the same time? If so, then I think you could do what Katy suggested and add another stem with a yellow flower to triangulate the other two. If not, then I might put one… at the bottom right sort of tucked into that arc made by the right leaf? Not sure… play around with some tracing paper cutouts of the yellow flower?
@vern I finished up a playful rendition of this, thanks for your tips. I am starting another little piece with just the seed head, the tracing paper always helps.
I am wondering how to fill this piece in to create a focal point, thinking of placing a yellow blossom somewhere…any ideas folks?
