Hi Wendy- this is a great page! I particularly love the highlight on the curved section of bark on the right! You have also really captured the leaves too. They really have that look of disintegration after they have been on the ground after a rain. Great job!

Beautiful, Wendy. Love the bark texture and the rolling, like Doug said. And the quality of the leaves is excellent. Love that super dark overlap on the top left leaves!!
Appreciate the input from everyone, it helps me a lot. I hope we have a future class drawing lichen. I tried to show it lifting off the wood with slightly curled up edges but I didn’t quite capture what I was aiming for.
