Nice job Lucy! Your apple has nice form and a great range of tones! I would lighten the area around the highlight a little. I would expect to see a shadow from the stem. There are areas where your pencil marks are sketchy. I would keep practicing on having smooth, even layers of tone. The sketch marks could be a problem down the road when they are competing with the patterns of a fruit, etc.

Katy, thank you for the comment on the previous apple. This one used darker shade and more natural stem emerge.
