Photo in the group The Practice of Botanical Drawing Discussion Board 8 years agoAfter drawing a couple of leaves, I went back to Wendy’s lesson on leaves. She explains all the issues I had and makes it look so easy! So I went ahead drawing the rest of the leaves. Well… it is still very hard. Time to go out and pick up some more leaves and practice.

Photo in the group The Practice of Botanical Drawing Discussion Board 8 years agoTheses jacaranda flowers are in large bunches, but I found a small branch I could reach. I’m not finished yet because I want to add leaves ( they’re just coming out) and the new seed pods that are green ( out in July?). Suggestions for now?
