Wendys Art Exhibited

3928 Main Street | Stone Ridge, NY 12484
Open Tuesday-Saturday 7:00am-2:30pm & Sunday 7:00am-11:30am

Wendy has been drawing plants for 20 years. Her original drawings and paintings are life-size, which means they are often very small. She likes to enlarge them so the details that we might not otherwise notice become visible. The enlarged prints are bright and colorful in a bold way, and her intention is to transform them into contemporary images. It has been gratifying to adorn the walls at Hash with Wendy’s prints for four years, changing the prints as the seasons develop.

Wendy often focuses on common and edible plants and enjoys these prints hanging alongside the delicious culinary delights at Hash. They both love working with the finest ingredients: Page cooks with them, and Wendy draws them! Edibles are among her favorites to draw. Not everyone is familiar with how plants we consume look, so these prints serve an educational purpose as well. Enjoy and celebrate the plants with us!
