Nice drawing Cathie! It has a whimsical feel. I see a personality in these carrots. I don’t know if it is the photo, but it seems desaturated, too gray. Try bringing in some more vibrant oranges, especially in the midtowns.

Again, you bring a smile to my face! Love the berries and Ginkgo leaves. Are the little pod boats sailing south for the winter?

I love the overall look of this drawing. As Vern says, it glows! Wonderful observation of the colors in what is often seen as a monochromatic subject. The hints of yellow and magenta really enhance this drawing!

White flower on white paper. If only I could do this well

I agree with Vern on the placement of your highlight Sharon. I would also tone it down a little. A highlight that white usually indicates a very shiny surface and I don’t expect that from a pear skin. Everything else is beautiful!

Hi Douglass- this sketch looks much closer to what I saw on the photo of your persimmon. Good job! Right now on your sketch, the center diamond shape looks like it is sitting on top of the caps.
