Does anyone know what this spiny guy is?

Another of your pages that draw me in. I don’t know if it is the composition or the colors or the interesting shapes and textures, but whatever it is, I am compelled!

Delores, I think your spiny guy is a sweet gum ball that falls from the tree in the fall and winter. I just picked two green ones yesterday from our tree. They are so complicated to draw. Yours looks great!

Ah, the little birds! The story continues. So many interesting textures on this page and nice job on the water drops.
