Very nice Sara! The colors are great! The highlight is well positioned and nicely done. The dark toning on the right seems intermittent and I would even that out. If you are going to include a cast shadow I would have put in a reflective highlight.

This quote is funny, Sara! 🙂 Nice drawing! I might also suggest rounding out that bottom left edge a bit more; it has a little bit of an angled straight line that I think would look nice if it were more smooth/rounded.

I think you are going to have an awesome picture book with al these great drawings and sayings and your great writing style. You bring so much to this feed/community – I am so glad you are here posting. Ps don’t tell anyone but I make all my “pumpkin” pies with butternut and they taste so much better.
