Photo in the group Botanical Basics Discussion Board 8 years, 3 months agoNice job on the feather! I do think you can get sharper edges on your feather strands and have a bit more contrast. Right now all areas are dark, and sometimes areas can be left lighter especially in the overlaps leaving the ones on top lighter. All in all great job!-
Thanks for the feedback. I’m working on the watercolor module at the moment, but I’ll give the feather another try soon.

I gently added some shading into the highlight areas to make them a bit less stripy looking. I also lifted a bit with a kneaded eraser in an attempt to make it a bit less of a straight line. Not a huge different but yes an improvement, Thanks Wendy! - Load More
